Inspector Oliver Lusero, 33, detailed at the MPD’s District Police Intelligence Unit (DPIU), was shot by one of the arrested members of a robbery gang while they were being transported to the headquarters last Friday.
He died last Sunday at the UERM Hospital.

The arming of riot personnel was the response of the MPD to the aggressive stance of rallyists, who attack law enforcers, even women, in their attempt to sow chaos and disorder in the streets, according to MPD director Chief Superintendent Pedro Bulaong.
