DAVAO CITY -- The government has put up a total of P1.7 million for the arrest of the four suspects in the July 24 bombing that ripped through a Metroshuttle bus that claimed the lives of two people and wounded 30 others in Digos City, Davao del Sur.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno announced that  P500,000 has been set for anyone who could give information leading to the capture of  Salahuddin Hassan,  one of the leaders of the Al-Khobar extortion group.

Another P400,000 each was also put for Abdul Malik Sali, Tahir Abubakar and the female bomber Junaira Mimbida.

Mimbida was reported to be the one who carried out the bombing herself based on the testimonies of witnesses. She was also pinpointed by witnesses as behind the Sept.1 bombing  of a  Metroshuttle bus at the passenger terminal in Digos City.
