803rd Brigade has new commander

CATBALOGAN CITY, Philippines — Colonel Mario Lacurom was installed as the new commander of the 803rd Infantry Brigade based in Northern Samar, replacing Brigadier General Herminilgo Aquino who was appointed assistant superintendent of the Philippine Military Academy in Baguio City.

Major General Jet Velarmino, commander of the 8th Infantry Division based in Catbalogan, presided the turnover of command ceremony held last September 8 at Camp Somoroy in Barangay Dalakit of Catarman town in Northern Samar.
