Iloilo mayors support guv for 2013 polls

ILOILO CITY, Philippines  – After Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Sr. declared his bid for reelection in 2013, eight mayors of the province’s 2nd district signed on Monday a statement of support and declaration of commitment for the governor’s electoral plan.

The mayors were Juanito Alipao of Alimodian town, Enrique Rojas of Leganes, Rolito Cajilig of Leon, Liezel Mondejar-Seville of New Lucena, Arcadio Gorriceta of Pavia, Victor Saclauso of San Miguel, Dennis Superficial of Sta. Barbara and Gregorio Brazas of Zarraga.

They stated in the manifesto their trust and confidence in Defensor as visionary leader, role model and brother in times of need and trial. (FREEMAN)
