Duterte inimbita sa ‘Pope’s Day’ celebration
MANILA, Philippines — Imbitado si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng Papal Nuncio ng Pilipinas sa araw na ito sa kabila ng “stupid God” remarks nito.
Ito ang sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa media briefing sa Palasyo dahil tuwing June 29 kada taon ay ipinagdiriwang ng Katoliko ang Pope’s Day na kapistahan ni St. Peter the Apostle.
“I do not know if the schedule of the President will permit it. And I do not know if the President will ask the three of us to go to represent him. But I would check first because apparently, the invitation was forwarded to the Department of Foreign Affairs so I will call the office if there’s any information on this invitation,” giit pa ng presidential spokesman.
Kung sakaling hindi makakadalo ang Pangulo dahil sa may nauna nang commitment ay magpapadala na lamang ito ng kanyang magiging kinatawan.
