Belingon babangon sa susunod na taon
MANILA, Philippines — Sa kabila ng masaklap na kabiguan noong Nobyembre ay positibo pa rin si dating ONE world bantamweight champion Kevin The Silencer” Belingon na makakabangon siya sa susunod na taon.
Nabigo ang pambato ng Team Lakay kontra kay Brazilian fighter John “Hands of Stone” Lineker via knockout sa ONE Circle noong Nobyembre.
Sa kabila nito ay kumpiyansa pa rin ang 33-anyos na si Belingon na makakabawi siya sa 2021.
“2020 for me was still a good year, despite everything that happened. I still have a good career,” ani Belingon. “Most importantly, my family welcomed our beautiful baby daughter to the world. She’s the best thing that happened to me. As for my fighting career, I’m looking to get back to the top in 2021.”
Bukod sa pagsasanay ay abala rin si Belingon at kanyang asawang si Lee sa pag-aalaga sa sanggol nilang si Kelsey Tuesday na ipinanganak noong Agosto.
“I just have to stay strong and stay healthy right now. That’s one of the toughest challenges with all the different restrictions and obstacles we now face in training,” ani Belingon. “There are a lot of moving parts that have been affected. I just need to stay on top of it. I’m keeping the dream in sight,” dagdag nito.
