MANILA, Philippines — Kinumpirma ­kahapon ni Solicitor General (SolGen) Menardo Guevarra na inalis na ng Korte Suprema ang temporary ­restraining order (TRO) na ipinatutupad nito laban sa ‘No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).’

Gayunman, hindi pa makapagbigay ng detalye hinggil dito si Guevarra dahil wala pa aniya silang kopya ng resolusyong inisyu ng Kataas-taasang Hukuman.

Matatandaang ­Agosto 2022 nang ibaba ng ­Supreme Court (SC) ang TRO laban sa NCAP kasunod ng petisyong inihain ng ilang transport group.

Noong nakaraang linggo naman, naghain ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ng urgent motion to lift the TRO laban  sa NCAP sa SC.

Sa pamamagitan ng NCAP, natutukoy ang mga lumalabag sa batas trapiko gamit ang traffic enforcement camera at CCTV ng walang presensya ng on-site traffic enforcer.
