Semi-pro leagues isusunod ng GAB

MANILA, Philippines — Matapos ang professional boxing at horse racing, umaasa naman ang Games and Amusement Board (GAB) na papayagan din ang mga semi-pro leagues na magbalik-aksyon.

Gusto ng GAB na malaman ang gagamiting health at safety protocols ng Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), Philippine Super Liga (PSL), Premier Volleyball League (PVL) at Spikers’ Turf sa gitna ng kinakaharap na coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Kung meron kayong masa-submit na maayos na protocol, eh di okay na,” wika ni GAB chairman Abraham ‘Baham’ Mitra sa nasabing mga semi-pro leagues.

Ang ipapasang health at safety protocols ng MPBL, PSL, PVL at Spikers’ Turf ay isusumite ng GAB sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID at sa Department of Health (DOH).

Nauna nang pinayagan ng IATF-EID ang training at conditioning ng mga players ng Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Philippine Football League (PFL) at ang Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 team.

Kamakalawa ay pinayagan ng IATF-EID ang pagbabalik-aksyon ng professional boxing at horse racing sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
