Pasay bettor wins P20 million lotto prize

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Pasay City was the sole winner of the P20.1-million jackpot in the Regular Lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.

The PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination 27-32-39-26-12-07, with a total prize of P20,167,956.53.

Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax.

Eighteen other bettors came one digit away from hitting the jackpot. They will receive P61,111.11 each.

All lotto winnings must be claimed within one year from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited for the PCSO’s charity programs.
