MANILA, Philippines — May bagong tahanan ang National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Ito ang inihayag kaha­pon ng NCAA matapos pumirma sa Cignal TV sa isang two-season broadcast partnership simula sa Season 102.

Nagtapos ang broadcast deal ng NCAA sa GMA Network sa Season 101.

“We’ve long been e­yeing the NCAA to be added to our growing ledger of sports properties. Here in Cignal, we are sports and we welcome you to your new home,” ani MediaQuest Holdings chairman Manny V. Pangilinan.

Nakasama ni Pangi­linan sa contract signing sa PLDT Ramon Cojuangco Bldg. sina MediaQuest President at Chief Executive Officer Ricky Vargas, MediaQuest Chief Financial Officer at Cignal Office-in-Charge Christopher Lizo, NCAA Philippines Policy Board President Rev. Fr. Aloysius Ma. A. Maranan at iba pang NCAA officials.

Ang Cignal TV ang pina­kamalaking sports broad­caster sa bansa na nagsasaere ng mga major sporting events.

“We believe this collaboration will strengthen Philippine sports and we look forward to a fruitful and meaningful collaboration with Cignal,” sabi ni Mara­nan ng NCAA Season 102 host San Beda University.

Magsisimula ang tambalan ng Cignal TV at NCAA sa pagdaraos ng Season 102 sa Setyembre 13.

Bukod sa San Beda, ang iba pang member schools ng NCAA ay ang Arellano University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Jose Rizal University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapúa University, San Sebastian College-Recoletos at University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.
