ALA Promotions milusad: 'IDOL' boxing TV series

CEBU, Philippines - Pormal nga gilusad sa ALA Promotions ang bag-o nilang TV series nga giuloha'g "IDOL"  nunot  usab sa gipahigayong press conference kagahapon didto sa Alpa City Suites sa Mandaue City.

 Kabahin kini sa ilang lakang aron himuon ang Pilipinas nga usa sa mga "boxing capital" sa tibuok kalibotan.

 Ang maong boxing series langkuban sa bag-ong henerasyon sa mga boxing stars, kinsa mopakita sa ilang mga labok alang sa  damgo nila nga mahimong sunod nga world champion sa nasud.

 "We felt that there has to be a foundation from the start and a grassroots program like what my father (Antonio Aldeguer) has started years ago wherein we can showcase young talents," matud pa ni ALA Promotions President ug CEO Michael Aldeguer atol sa   press conference.

 "This will be more than just a reality show because this will take over the Philippine boxing scene as Pinoy Pride goes worldwide. This will carry the torch of Pinoy Pride.”

 Ang "IDOL" series makita matag Sabado sa ABS-CBN ug sundon nila ang format sa Pinoy Pride series nga mahimo nang usa ka international event nga bitoonan sa mga Pinoy world champions ug contenders.

"We are planning to do a Pinoy Pride in Dubai and we are also preparing our US tour that is why we need this (IDOL) to continue what we established here in the Philippines," dugang pa ni Aldeguer.

 Lakip sa mga boxing prospects gikan sa ALA Boxing Gym nga makita sa IDOL series mao sila si undefeated super bantamweight prospect 'Prince' Albert Pagara (17-0, 12KOs), Melvin Gumban (14-0, 6KOs), Mark Vincent Bernaldez (10-0, 6KOs), Ralph Lulu (8-0, 3KOs) ug former Boholano amateur standout Jessel Magsayo (2-0, 2KOs).

 Ang ALA boxers makigsangka sa mga kaatbang Pinoy ug Asyano sa maong serye ug moaway usab sila alang sa mga regional titles.

 Ang labing unang IDOL event mahitabo sa Agosto 24 didto sa Escalante City nga pangulohan nila ni Gumban ug Bernaldez.
