Roach ireretiro na si Pacquiao kung...

MANILA, Philippines – Kung hindi magiging kumbinsido ang panalo ni Manny Pacquiao kay Timothy Bradley, Jr. sa kanilang laban sa linggo ay mismong si trainer Freddie Roach ang magsasabi sa Filipino world eight-division champion na magretiro na sa pagbobok­sing.

“If he looks bad, he retires. At least I’ll tell him to. And he may be the first one, who will listen to me,” wika ni Roach kay Pacquiao, magtataya ng kanyang suot na World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown laban kay Bradley sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dumating na ang Team Pacquiao sa Vegas matapos isara ang kanilang trai­ning camp sa Wild Card Boxing Gym ni Roach sa Hollywood, California.

Kumpiyansa si Roach, isang five-time Trainer of the Year, na mapapabagsak ng 33-anyos na si Pacquiao ang 28-anyos na si Bradley, ang kasalukuyang WBO light welterweight titlist.

“Bradley’s no killer, but he tries hard,” wika ni Roach sa American challenger. “Manny should eat him up as he comes forward. I think Manny should look really good in this fight.”

Pipilitin ni Pacquiao na mapatulog si Bradley ma­tapos ang kontrobersyal ni­yang majority decision win laban kay Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez noong Nobyembre 12, 2011.

Bago bumiyahe patu­ngong Vegas ay nag-jogging si Pacquiao sa Griffith Park sa Los Angeles kung sa­an niya nakasabay si Fi­lipino Grammy Award mu­sician Apl De Ap ng Black Eyed Peas.

Magsasagawa naman sina Pacquiao at Roach ng mga light conditioning exercises at mitt works sa Las Vegas bilang pagpapakondisyon.
