PHLPost celebrates National Stamp Collecting month

MANILA, Philippines - This year’s celebration of National Stamp Collecting Month will carry the theme Selyong Pinoy: Pagpapakita ng Husay at Galing ng mga Pilipino.

Events include the Showcase of Philippine Stamps, which runs until Nov. 29; a nationwide on-the-spot Valentine’s stamp design contest for high school students on Nov. 20; and the Filipino Philatelists fellowship night with the Postmaster General on Nov. 21.

PHLPost will also launch several stamps this month: the Tricycle Stamp as part of their year-long Topical Stamps release; the highly-anticipated limited edition Dolphy Stamp; and the Bonifacio 150 Stamp. For inquiries, call 524-8771.
