Ang Carmelite Sisters ug ang RH Bill

IYO ANTOY - Antolin dela Cerna -

Sa unang adlaw sa Novena-Masses, pangandam sa pangilin sa Our Lady of Mount Carmel, gibasa ni Rt. Rev. Msgr.

Nagkanayon ang mga Sisters in Carmel: “The Church stand is clear. And we, your Sisters in Carmel, cannot but also make our stand clear. We believe that the issue of contraception belongs to the realm of faith, not opinions.” Bitaw, niay uban, misalig lamang sa kaugalingon nilang opinion, kaylagi, gihatagan sila sa Ginoo og free will, busa, free choice, ug wala nay labut ang Faith.

“The Church is our Mother, protecting us, her children from dangers. We are daughters of the Church, daughters of St. Teresa who prided herself on being a daughter of the Church. And so our choice is to stand heart and soul with the Church.”

Sa ato pa, being daughters of the Church, hingpit silang nagpaluyo sa baruganan sa ilang Inahang Simbahan.

Padayon: “The bill’s proponent may sincerely have good intentions, but it is not enough for us to reject the sinful solutions proposed. One of the causes of our present situations is the lack of knowledge and obedience to God’s law on the purity of our lives. Had there been no failures against God’s commands on purity of lives, we would not be overpopulated.

“Now we cannot remedy a situation caused by sin (births out of wedlock, secret second families, etc, etc) by committing other sins.” Moy gidangat!

“Our need is to positively help our families, so that they will be true Christian families. The way to reach the RH Bill’s supposed goal is really through having strong virtuous Catholic families. Let us prove to the world that a nation walking by the path of God’s will does not need the world’s sinful ways to survive.”
