P6.6-M worth of cannabis shrubs destroyed in Kalinga

TABUK CITY, Kalinga — About P6.6 million worth of marijuana shrubs were destroyed in a two-day eradication operation in Tinglayan, Kalinga from Sunday to Monday.
Joint teams from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Cordillera and local police uprooted around 33,000 fully grown marijuana plants in a 3,000-square-meter site in Barangay Loccong from May 3 to 4.
No suspects were found at the scene.
