Higher minimum PCSO lotto prizes start today

MANILA, Philippines — Starting today, lottery enthusiasts will see the minimum jackpot prizes raised across all major games, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said the minimum jackpot prize is now at P10 million for Lotto 6/42, P15 million for Mega Lotto 6/45, P25 million for Super Lotto 6/49, P45 million for Grand Lotto 6/55 and P75 million for Ultra Lotto 6/58.

Robles said the higher starting jackpots reflect PCSO’s efforts to make every draw more exciting and rewarding for all players nationwide.

“If no winner is declared in a draw, the jackpot will continue to increase, reaching even more substantial amounts until a lucky player matches all six numbers,” he added.

Under the updated prize structure, prices for lotto tickets also increased from P20 to P25.

According to Robles, the PCSO expects an increase in the number of bettors as the new structure is designed to offer players a more competitive risk-to-reward ratio.

He added that the expected increase would generate more revenues for the PCSO mission of providing health, medical assistance and social welfare programs to millions of Filipinos.

“These higher starting jackpots reflect our commitment to keeping the games exciting while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our charitable initiatives,” Robles said.
