Lotto 6/58 jackpot to hit P286.5 million

MANILA, Philippines — The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot is estimated to balloon to P286.5 million in tonight’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said there was no jackpot winner in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw last Tuesday, which yielded the combination 05-07-18-28-48-32 and had a jackpot of P276,717,316.

Robles said there were 13 second prize winners who correctly guessed all but one of the winning digits. Each can claim P120,000.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 was last won on April 6 by a lone bettor who bought the winning ticket in Tarlac City. That draw carried a jackpot prize of P223.7 million.

The Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
