3 kids die in fire

TAYUG, Pangasinan – Three children died after they were trapped in a fire that gutted their house in this village on Tuesday morning.

Reports said the father of the victims aged six, four and three went to a neighbor’s house to charge his phone.

The house was on fire when the father returned at past 8 a.m.

The fire was put out at 10:10 a.m.

Firefighters found the remains of the children in the house.

A doctor who rushed to the scene of the incident said the victims died of suffocation.

Arson probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
