MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has issued proclamations declaring special non-working days in 10 areas of the country to celebrate local founding or charter anniversaries.

Proclamations 793 and 794 declared Feb. 28 a special non-working day in the cities of Tangub in Misamis Occidental and Escalante in Negros Occidental, respectively.

Tangub and Escalante will mark their 57th and 24th charter anniversaries, respectively.

The Palace issued Proclamation 797 declaring Feb. 17 a special non-working day in Padre Burgos in Quezon for the commemoration of Padre Burgos Day.

It also declared Feb. 21 a special non-working day in Marinduque under Proclamation 798 for the celebration of Araw ng Marinduque.

Meanwhile, Proclamation 799 declared March 6 a special non-working day in Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte for the observance of the 46th Araw ng Gutalac.

A special non-working day was declared in Tagum City, Davao del Norte on March 7 through Proclamation 800, for the celebration of the 27th Araw ng Tagum.

Proclamation 801 declared March 10 a special non-working day in Tanauan, Batangas for the city’s 24th anniversary celebration.

March 18 is a special non-working in Masbate as declared under Proclamation 802 for the province’s 124th founding anniversary.

Proclamation 803 declared March 21 a special non-working day in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro for the city’s 27th founding anniversary.

Tabaco in Albay will enjoy a special non-working day on March 24 for the city’s 24th anniversary, according to Proclamation 804.
