Camarines Sur town gets logistics facility

MANILA, Philippines — A state-of-the-art building that will serve as the Central Logistics Center in Balatan, Camarines Sur was recently turned over by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to the municipal government.

DPWH-Bicol chief Virgilio Eduarte said the new facility, implemented by the Camarines Sur fifth district engineering office, would serve as transportation and warehouse hub in the area.

The DPWH said the facility can be used as a venue for town occasions, meetings, workshops and trainings as well as an evacuation area during calamities.
