COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A policeman was shot dead by his neighbor, whom he tried to stop from creating noise in Tangub, Misamis Occidental before dawn on Saturday.

Mirafuentes was arrested by responding police officers and barangay watchmen after a brief chase.
