P1 million shabu seized in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of at least P1 million was seized following a sting in Dasmariñas, Cavite before dawn yesterday.

Jamal Mocaidat Sultan, 24, reportedly yielded 150 grams of shabu to officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group.

Aside from shabu, police said they also seized marked money, phone and weighing scale from the suspect.

Sultan was brought to the special operations unit of the National Capital Region police for documentation and proper disposition.

The pieces of evidence were brought to the PNP forensics laboratory at Camp Crame.
