Ticket bought in Pangasinan wins P58.9 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A ticket bought from a lotto outlet in Barangay Asinan in Bugallon, Pangasinan matched the winning numbers in the Grand Lotto 6/55 drawn on Wednesday night.

Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the winning combination is 05-01-27-26-44-11.

Twenty-nine other bettors who hit five of the winning numbers will receive P100,000, before taxes.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law imposes a 20 percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.
