7 robbery suspects arrested in Tarlac

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Seven suspected robbers were arrested after a car chase in Capas, Tarlac on Friday.

Reports reaching Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen showed pursuit operations were conducted when the suspects fled in a multicab after robbing a trucking firm in Barangay Sto. Domingo 2 in Capas town.

Police said a .38-caliber revolver, assorted car and truck batteries and fuel containers were recovered from the suspects.

The suspects were reportedly behind robberies of truck batteries and fuel from truck companies in Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Calabarzon.
