Belarusian held for raping Pinay

MANILA, Philippines — A 31-year-old Belarusian was arrested by officers of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for allegedly raping a Filipina last year.

In a statement yesterday, BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said Aliaksei Rudakou was apprehended upon arriving at the NAIA Terminal 3 from Dubai on Jan. 5.

The Bacoor, Cavite regional trial court issued a warrant for Rudakou’s arrest on Nov. 22, 2022 for the alleged rape, prompting the BI to issue an alert order for immigration officers to turn Rudakou over to the police.

Tansingco said Rudakou previously resided in Quezon City.
