14-hour fire razes Valenzuela factory
MANILA, Philippines — A fire of unknown origin raged for over 14 hours at a factory that manufactures rubber products in Valenzuela City on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the first alarm at the two-story warehouse of Titan Rubber located at Raminel Subdivision in Barangay Veinte Reales at around 3:21 p.m.
The fire was elevated to second alarm at 3:35 p.m. and third alarm two minutes later until it reached fourth alarm at 3:48 p.m.
A total of 19 fire trucks responded to contain the blaze, the BFP said.
Arson probers declared the fire under control at 5:45 a.m. yesterday. The BFP said it has yet to determine what caused the fire.
