Bus rams electric post; 2 dead

ORANI, Bataan, Philippines — Two persons died and 11 others were injured when a passenger bus rammed an electric post along Roman Highway in Barangay Doña in this town.

One of the fatalities was identified as Eva Oril, 74, a resident of Mariveles.

The bus driver, Jeffrey Santos, said he lost control of the wheel because the road was slippery following an early morning downpour.

Santos, who was among those injured, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
