3 shot dead in Taguig; gunman hunted
MANILA, Philippines — Police are tracking down a gunman who reportedly killed three persons in Taguig City before dawn yesterday.
The fatalities were Marie Angelica Belina, 25; Mark Ian Desquitado, 35, and Tashane Joshua Branzuela, 22.
According to a police report, the shooting happened at a transient house in Barangay Fort Bonifacio at around 3:20 a.m.
Investigators said a witness heard successive gunshots and found the victims on the ground upon checking the scene.
Belina was found with multiple gunshots to the body, which caused her instantaneous death, according to police.
Branzuela was rushed to the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police said they have yet to determine the identity of the suspect as well as the motive for the killing.
