Zamboanga del Sur road mishap: 4 cops hurt  

COTABATO CITY – Four policemen were seriously injured in a road accident in Payao, Zamboanga del Sur on Wednesday.

M/Sgt. Sonny Jasani and Patrolmen Corneliu Lopena, Frank Drapeza and Elizer Garingo remained confined in a hospital yesterday, Lt. Herod Partosa of the Payao municipal police station said.

Partosa said the policemen were in a patrol vehicle when it rolled over as the driver lost control of the wheel after the brake malfunctioned in Sitio Subing, Barangay Guintolan.
