Quezon City’s second most wanted fugitive caught
MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested Quezon City’s second most wanted fugitive on Friday.
Alfredo Castillo III, 19, was apprehended along Banawe street in Barangay Lourdes at around 2 p.m., Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Brig. Gen. Remus Medina said in a statement yesterday.
Medina said Castillo is the subject of a police manhunt as he has a warrant of arrest for two counts of rape issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 86 Judge Roberto Buenaventura.
The court did not recommend bail for Castillo. Medina did not give other details on the case the suspect is facing.
In Barangay Payatas, police arrested the ninth most wanted person of QCPD Station 13 at around 4 p.m. on Friday.
Policemen served Ricardo delos Santos, 51, an arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.
