BOC seizes P80 million fake goods in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs has confiscated P80 million worth of smuggled counterfeit products at a warehouse in Pasay, the BOC reported yesterday.

In a statement, the BOC said its officers inspected a warehouse along Vergel street and seized counterfeits of various branded products.

The BOC said it is preparing charges against the still unidentified suspects for violation of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines and the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
