Van crashes into house in North Cotabato; 11 hurt

ALAMADA, North Cotabato, Philippines — Eleven persons, 10 of them professors at the Cotabato City State College, were injured when their van rolled down an enbankment along the highway and hit a house in Barangay Barangiran in this town on Thursday.

Town police chief Maj. Bryan Espinosa said the professors were returning to Cotabato City from an activity in Bukidnon when the accident occurred.

Espinosa said the van driver claimed he lost control of the wheel when the brake malfunctioned.
