Maynilad completes pipe realignment works

MANILA, Philippines — West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. has completed its pipe realignment activity for a flood control project of the Department of Public Works and Highways in Sampaloc, Manila.

In an update on its Facebook page, Maynilad said aside from physical works to strengthen the newly laid cross-under pipe, the pipe realignment had been completed as of 3 p.m. yesterday.

Maynilad said water is being flown to the pipe while water pressure in the pipe network is being built up.

With the completion of the pipe realignment works, Maynilad said there would be no extension of the water service interruption in its serviced areas.
