P3.4 million shabu seized in Cavite
MANILA, Philippines — Three drug suspects were arrested and P3.4 million worth of shabu seized in a sting in Bacoor, Cavite on Thursday.
Marvin Espiritu, 30; John Paul Reyes, 26, and Christine Alvaran, 25, were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Panapaan I at around 3:10 p.m.
Christian Frivaldo, PDEA-National Capital Region office head, said a Toyota Avanza, around 500 grams of shabu, a cell phone and assorted identification cards were confiscated from the suspects.
In Laguna, 53 grams of shabu valued at P360,000 were confiscated from a certain Richard Mejia in an anti-narcotics operation in Barangay Pansol in Calamba at around 7:22 p.m.
