MANILA, Philippines — Three persons died in a road accident in Tagkawayan, Quezon on Thursday night.
Police said a Toyota Hilux driven by Jessanto Abellon swerved to the opposite lane and collided with a trailer tractor along Quirino Highway in Barangay San Isidro.
Abellon and his two passengers, Jocelyn and Dandy Perez were pronounced dead on arrival at the Maria Eleazar Memorial District Hospital.
The driver of the tractor, Roymar Ayapana, was taken into custody for investigation.
