Fire hits Makati Restaurant

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a restaurant in Makati yesterday morning.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the blaze damaged the Choi Garden Restaurant at the corner of Antonio Arnaiz Avenue and Greenbelt Drive at around 8 a.m.

Arson probers said the fire could have been caused by an exhaust fan that overheated in the kitchen.

The fire reached the second alarm before it was put out before 9 a.m., according to the BFP.

No one was reported injured in the incident.
