South Korean wanted for fraud nabbed in Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — A South Korean man wanted for fraud in his country was arrested at his hideout in Barangay Salinungan West, San Mateo, Isabela on Wednesday.

Several arrest warrants were issued against Song Yang-rae in Seoul in 2016, according to San Mateo police chief Maj. Darwin Urani.

Urani said the suspect was apprehended in Manila, but managed to escape from the Bureau of Immigration detention facility in Taguig City in January.
