COVID patient commits suicide in Pampanga

ANGELES CITY, Philippines  –  An 80-year-old man who tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 reportedly committed suicide in a hospital in Barangay Lourdes Sur in this city on Thursday.

Police said a nurse found the man hanging from an overhead closet with a pulse oximeter cable looped around his neck in Room 251 at the Angeles Medical Center.

The man, who was brought to the hospital on June 13, was initially diagnosed with pneumonia.
