LINGAYEN, Philippines — Two persons died while two others were injured in separate vehicular accidents in the towns of Sual and Binmaley, both in Pangasinan, over the weekend.

The fatalities were identified as Renato Espino Jr., 27, of Barangay San Isidro Norte, and Isabel Bautista, 83, of Barangay Papagueyan, both in Binmaley.

Taken to the hospital for treatment were Reymark Bulatao, 22, of Bugallon, and Bon Carlo Lamsen, 25, of Malasiqui.

Espino and Bulatao were on a motorcycle when they collided with a truck in Barangay Caoayan, Sual.

Probers said Espino reportedly tried to overtake the truck driven by Marcelo Laranang.

Meanwhile, Bautista was crossing the road in Barangay Papagueyan when she was hit by a motorcycle driven by Lamsen.

Bautista was declared dead on arrival at the Blessed Family Doctors General Hospital in San Carlos City.

Lamsen was brought to the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
