More evacuation centers to rise in Zamboanga
MANILA, Philippines — The government is fast-tracking the construction of four evacuation centers in the Zamboanga peninsula to accommodate more families displaced during disasters.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently turned over three evacuation centers in the town of Labason and Dipolog City, both in Zamboanga del Norte, as well as in Imelda in Zamboanga Sibugay.
