Family of 5 stabbed dead in Bulacan

MALOLOS, Philippines – A family of five were found dead at their house in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan yesterday.
The fatalities were identified as Auring Dizon, 54; her daughter Estrella Carlos, 35, and her grandchildren Donny, 11; Ella, 7; and Dexter Jr., 1.
Initial investigation showed the husband of Carlos, Dexter, arrived at their house at North Ridge Royal Subdivision in Barangay Sto. Cristo after his night duty as security guard, at around 8:45 a.m.
Dexter said he scaled the gate when nobody responded to his call, and saw through an opening in the window the bodies of his mother-in-law, who had no underwear, and his wife, who was naked. The children were found in a locked room on the second floor of their house.
The bodies of the victims bore multiple stab wounds.
Probers have yet to determine if the women were raped. They ruled out robbery as the motive, noting that the personal belongings of the victims were intact. – Ramon Efren Lazaro, Ric Sapnu, Cecille Suerte Felipe
