Korean nabbed for drugs

GEN. SANTOS CITY, Philippines – A Korean man was arrested in a hotel here on Thursday for possession of illegal drugs.

Hyun Seong-hong did not resist arrest when agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency barged into his hotel room, said Lyndon Aspacio, PDEA director for the Soccskargen Region.  

Hyun allegedly yielded shabu with an estimated street value of P75,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Aspacio said the suspect is married to a Filipina, who owns a restaurant here. 

Hyun faces charges for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
