2 killed in motorbike mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two men died and another was seriously injured in separate road accidents involving motorcycles in Cagayan and Isabela on Monday.

Raffy Israel, 28, a resident of Barangay Maluyo in Allacapan town in Cagayan, died when his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle in Barangay Lorenzo around 7 a.m., said Chief Inspector Wilhelmino Zaldivar, Lal-lo police chief.

The driver of the SUV, who was injured, was brought to a hospital for treatment.

In Santiago City, Jolas Ramos, 23, died after his motorcycle rammed the wall of a water station in Barangay Patul. The victim was reportedly drunk when the accident occurred.
