New CIDG-Region 4 director named

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Region 4A  has a new director.

Senior Superintendent Joel Pernito replaced Superintendent Arthur Bisnar, who resigned on Dec. 1 after only a month in office.

Bisnar refused to elaborate on why he resigned, saying he wanted to give way to other senior officials.

The regional directors of the CIDG normally have the rank of senior superintendent.
