Lando victims get P5 M cash gift from PRC

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) donated P5 million in cash to 1,545 families affected by Typhoon Lando in Nueva Ecija.

PRC chairman Richard Gordon recently handed out P3,500 each to the affected families in 12 barangays in Bongabon, Gabaldon and Laur town and Palayan City.

“The cash grant is expected to help the families in their immediate needs,” said Gordon, adding the PRC earlier distributed food and non-food items to the victims.
