Cop nabbed in Zambo drug sting

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A policewoman and her two companions were arrested in a sting here on Monday night.

Police Officer 1 Charlotte Foncardas, Rito Esperat, 44, and Joy Perez, 24, were collared in Barangay Tugbungan.

Chief Inspector Joel Tuttuh, spokesman for the Zamboanga City Police Office, said three sachets said to contain shabu, drug paraphernalia and P500 in marked money were recovered from the suspects.
