BUGALLON, Pangasinan, Philippines – Three bodies with gunshot wounds were found at a cornfield in this town yesterday morning.

The bodies of Oscar Perez, 50; Roberto Bugayong, 45, and Marcos Soriano, 40, were found along the road in Barangay Pangascasan at around 9:30 a.m. according to Inspector Ariel Viray, deputy town police chief.

Probers believe the victims were slain elsewhere and were dumped in the area to mislead them.

The wife of one of the victims told police she last saw her husband on Friday when he left home at around 7 p.m. to buy food.

Viray said they would verify reports that the victims were involved in cattle rustling.
