Fire razes residential area in Mandaluyong City

MANILA, Philippines – A residential area in Mandaluyong City caught fire on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire hit Block 32 of Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.

On its Twitter update, the Metro Manila Development Authority said at 2:34 p.m. the fire reached the fifth alarm and at 2:45 p.m. Task Force Alpha.

MMDA said the blaze intensified and at 3:19 p.m. The fire alarm was raised to Task Force Bravo involving chief operation, intelligence and investigation branch, direct fire marshall and all provincial district and municipal districts concerned.

The authorities have yet to release further details on the ongoing fire.
