US embassy closed on November 11 for Veterans Day

MANILA, Philippines — The United States Embassy in Manila advised the public that its office will be closed on November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

The regular services of the embassy and its affiliated offices will resume on Thursday.

The embassy is celebrating Veterans Day every November 11. It is celebrated in the US as the day World War I officially ended with the signing of the armistice at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.
