Town executive’s son, pal hurt in bar shooting

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines  – A municipal councilor’s son and his friend were wounded in an attack in an entertainment bar in San Mariano, Isabela on Sunday night.

Kevin Pascual, son of Councilor Desiderio Pascual, and Dante Tumolva were rushed to the United Doctors Medical Center in Cauayan City for treatment of gunshot wounds, according to Chief Inspector Bonifacio Gannaban, town police chief.

Reports said Pascual and his friends were drinking in the bar at past 10 p.m. when the suspect, identified as Dominic Yap, 40, arrived and reportedly shot them.

Yap fled after the shooting.
